  2. Principles of Working as a Door Supervisor in the Private Security Industry: Here, you’ll delve into the specific role and responsibilities of a Door Supervisor. Topics include access control, egress control, venue security, incident management, and liaising with emergency services.
  3. Application of Conflict Management in the Private Security Industry: Conflict management is an essential skill in this line of work. This unit equips you with the tools to defuse conflicts effectively, employing strategies such as negotiation, communication, and de-escalation.
  4. Physical Intervention: The final unit is focused on teaching you the practical skills of safe and non-harmful physical intervention, crucial for situations where verbal communication is not sufficient.

Assessment and Examination

On the final day of the course, your learning will be evaluated through 3 multiple-choice exams and a practical assessment. The exams ensure you’ve comprehended the theoretical principles, while the practical assessment verifies your physical intervention skills.
