First Aid Training Course
Emergencies can occur at any time, and in any place. Whether you’re a professional in the security industry or simply a concerned citizen, having First Aid skills is incredibly valuable. From April 1, 2021, all learners embarking on their Door Supervision or Security Guard training must provide evidence of holding a valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate. Recognizing the importance of this requirement, SR Facilities Group is proud to offer an intensive one-day First Aid Training course.
This course aligns with the guidelines of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, equipping you with the essential skills and knowledge to administer First Aid when it matters most.
Course Overview
Our First Aid Training course covers a range of critical subjects, including but not limited to:
- Understanding the roles and responsibilities of a first aider
- Assessment of an emergency situation
- Administering First Aid to an unresponsive casualty
- Recognizing and assisting a casualty who is choking
- Correct use of an automated external defibrillator (AED)
Dealing with wounds, bleeding, and shock
Assessment and Certification
This course will be assessed through a mix of written assessment and practical demonstration of techniques. Upon successful completion, you will receive a First Aid certificate, valid for 3 years from the date of issue.
Pre-Course Requirement
If you’ve already completed a first aid course elsewhere, you’re required to present your valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid certificate before your training begins. The certificate must be valid for at least 12 months from the start date of the course.
